THE TALK OF THE TOWN.. OR THE STATES THAT IS...
One of the main focuses of the United States today seems to be healthcare. Everyday on the news, on every channel, you hear something on the subject. Well its only obvious that when i go to CNN's website that, of course i see an article on the subject. Covered in the article is healthcare bill implementing the presidents ideas, what it concerns, and what steps that need to be taken to have the bill implemented. In his address to Congress he states that that his plan will provide "more security and stability to those who have insurance," extend it to those who don't and slow the rate of growth in health care costs. Many of the top republicans are still opposed to his plan saying that it delivers an intensely partisan speech to Congress that unfairly maligned opponents and distorted basic facts. Democrats and Republicans are still strongly divided over the question of whether to allow for a government-run public health insurance option. Before reading this article i hadn't kept up with much of the healthcare reform, but this article sums it up in an easy breezy way.
